Past ExhibitionsSextet-a-TeteMarch 16–April 13, 2001 Sextet-a-Tete the second annual MFA exhibition presented the thesis work of six candidates from the Carnegie Mellon School of Art: Krista Connerly, S. Emily de Araujo, George A. Magalios, Suzannah Paul, Evan Tapper, and Rebecca Vaughan. Their work ranged from sociological poetic fieldwork, conceptual actions and art performance, to time-based multimedia works, site-specific installations, works on paper, and sculptural objects that resisted immediate references. Exhibitions at the Regina Gouger Miller Gallery are supported in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; individual sponsors; the School of Art; and the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. |
