Past ExhibitionsIce Cream Social, 1993-2004, David RobbinsJanuary 14–March 13, 2005 Conceptual artist David Robbins began his series of “Ice Cream Socials” in 1993. Since then, Robbins's Ice Cream Social has evolved to include live performance, visual artwork, a novella, a television show and a feature movie script. Robbins says, Exhibitions at the Regina Gouger Miller Gallery are supported in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; individual sponsors; the School of Art; and the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. |
