Skating on the Eye: Patiner Sur L'oeil

January 18–March 2, 2001

Skating on the Eye: Patiner Sur L’oeil by Richard Purdy from Montreal, Canada, was conceived and created at CIAS Crestet, an art and ecology research center in the south of France. Purdy described the exhibition as “a meditation of the biology of love, charcuterie and unknown saints.”

Exhibitions at the Regina Gouger Miller Gallery are supported in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; individual sponsors; the School of Art; and the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University.
