Past ExhibitionsShock and Awesome: MFA thesis exhibition 2004March 26–April 18, 2004 Shock and Awesome promised to produce “a delivery of instant, nearly incomprehensible levels of sensory potential aimed at paralyzing or so overloading onlookers’ perceptions that they are incapable of resistance.” 2004 MFA candidates Lilith Bailey-Kroll, Cassandra C. Jones, Shana Moulton, Siobhan Rigg, Ruth Stanford, and Fereshteh Toosi used photography, installation, and video projections to create an exhibition that held up to its promises. Exhibitions at the Regina Gouger Miller Gallery are supported in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; individual sponsors; the School of Art; and the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. |
