Past ExhibitionsThe Paper Sculpture ShowSeptember 5–October 12, 2003 The Paper Sculpture Show was a fully interactive exhibition in which audiences and artists explored the realm between two- and three-dimensional art in a new and inventive way. Visitors actually constructed the paper sculptures from sheets printed with the artists’ instructions and designs. Twenty-nine artists and artist teams were represented, including: Janine Antoni, Francis Cape & Liza Phillips, Minerva Cuevas, The Art Guys, Rachel Harrison, Glenn Ligon, Akiko Sakaizumi, Sarah Sze, Olav Westphalen and Allan Wexler. Exhibitions at the Regina Gouger Miller Gallery are supported in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; individual sponsors; the School of Art; and the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. |
