Past ExhibitionsParadise Now: Picturing the Genetic RevolutionCurated by Marvin Heiferman & Carole Kismaric October 25–December 15, 2002 Paradise Now featured the work of more than thirty artists whose work focuses on genetics. The artists applied the new language and imagery that breakthroughs in genetics offer to paintings, photographs, videos, installations and sculpture. Exhibitions at the Regina Gouger Miller Gallery are supported in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; individual sponsors; the School of Art; and the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. |
